Founder & Head of Training
Asia Forex Mentor
He does not only teach retail traders — he trains the desks. Over 20 years, Ezekiel built a mathematical, ROI-first approach to the markets, then taught it to bank traders, fund managers and more than 100,000 students across 50+ countries.

The short version
Ezekiel Chew started trading at 16, with a $500 account and no idea what he was doing. He made money. Then he gave it back. Then he did it again — five, six accounts in.
The turning point was not a strategy. It was sitting in a McDonald’s with the cheapest burger on the menu and realising that McDonald’s is a system — it runs the same way in every store, and anyone can run it. He looked at his own trading and asked the obvious question: do I have a system? He didn’t. He traded on feel.
So he spent two and a half years building one — a numbers-driven, probability-based method with a defined edge, tested rather than believed. It worked. And then one emotional trade, taken outside his own rules, wiped out everything he had built. That loss is the reason the system now comes before the trade — in his own trading and in everything he teaches.
In 2008, friends who knew he traded asked him to teach them. That small group became an online community, then live classes, then something he had not planned for at all: banks and trading institutions asking him to coach their teams.
Funded his first trading account as a teenager. Made money, blew it, and blew several accounts after that.
The McDonald’s realisation: repeatable results come from a repeatable process, not from instinct.
Rebuilt trading from first principles — a scientific, mathematical approach engineered around probability and ROI rather than chart patterns.
A single emotional trade taken outside his own system erased what the system had built. The discipline layer he teaches today came directly out of that.
Friends asked to be taught. A small group became an online community, then live classes across the region.
Banks and fund management companies engaged him to train and advise their core trading teams — including the trading desk at the Development Bank of the Philippines.
The One Core Program was named Best Comprehensive Course Offering by Investopedia.
Featured speaker at the industry’s largest Asian gathering, alongside Traders Fair and ShowFX World appearances.
Still trading his own capital, still teaching the same system — through the One Core Program, the AFM Research Lab and a weekly newsletter.
Institutional work
Asia Forex Mentor grew from training the general public into consulting for the core trading teams of banks and fund management companies. Ezekiel trained the trading desk at the Development Bank of the Philippines — the country’s second largest state-owned bank, with more than $13 billion in assets.
The reason institutions engage him is not marketing. It is that the approach is built to be measured: defined edge, defined risk, defined expectancy. The same methodology, rebuilt for individual traders, is what the One Core Program teaches.
“Ezekiel’s ROI-driven approach is very different from the one used by most trainers. It is a scientific, numbers-driven way of beating the market that is not taught anywhere.”

What he teaches
Ezekiel’s core thesis is that every major move in any market — forex, indices, commodities, crypto — follows the same three phases. The strategies change. The structure does not.
Price touches a level again and again. A coil winding tighter — pressure builds while most traders see nothing happening.
One side wins the level. The pressure now has nowhere to go but out, and direction is finally readable.
Price breaks and runs. Where the money is made — and where you need to already be positioned, not deciding.
