Axon Markets Review 2026

8.6/10
AFM Trust Score

Axon Markets gets the basics right for a cost-conscious trader. Four clearly separated accounts start at $10, the Raw Spread account quotes from 0.0 pips for $6 per lot round turn, and every account carries negative balance protection, a 50% stop-out and segregated client funds. The AxonLab tools, which put Axon’s live spreads next to two named competitors, are a real point of difference, and copy trading, PAMM and a free academy sit in the same account. Know the terms going in: accounts are held with Axon Markets Ltd under the Seychelles FSA, MetaTrader 5 is the only platform, and the client agreement includes a withdrawal commission for accounts that withdraw without trading. Confirm your account terms in the Client Area before you fund.

Risk warning: your capital is at risk. Forex and CFDs carry the potential for gains, but statistically only 11–25% of traders profit while 74–89% lose their investment. AFM earns a commission if you open an account through our links — it never changes how we score a broker.

How we reviewed Axon Markets
  • Every headline figure — minimum deposit, spreads, commission, leverage and fees — was read off Axon Markets’s own current published documents, not copied from another review site.
  • Each licence claim was checked against the regulator’s own public register. Regulators named on the operator’s marketing but absent from the register are not printed here.
  • Confirmed which legal entity actually onboards traders from Singapore, Malaysia and the wider region — spreads, leverage caps and investor protection differ sharply between a broker’s ASIC or FCA arm and its offshore one.
  • Scored out of 10 on the AFM Trust Score — regulation, real all-in cost, platform, market access and withdrawal experience. Commercial relationships carry no weight in the score.
  • Anything we could not confirm from a primary source was left out rather than estimated. Figures move; re-check before you deposit.

Axon Markets Review: the short version

Axon Markets is a forex and CFD broker that trades on MetaTrader 5 and prices itself for cost-conscious traders. Its Raw Spread account quotes from 0.0 pips with a $6 per lot round-turn commission, and its entry account, LeveragePlus, opens from $10. All four accounts include negative balance protection, a 100% margin call level and a 50% stop-out.

What sets it apart from most brokers at this price is transparency tooling. AxonLab publishes Axon’s live spreads across 232 instruments and sets them beside two named competitors, so you can check the pricing claim yourself rather than take it on trust.

Three terms to know before you open an account: your account is held with Axon Markets Ltd, licensed by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (SD115); MT5 is the only platform; and the client agreement includes a withdrawal commission of 2% to 4.5% for withdrawals made without sufficient trading activity. Each is covered below.

Asia Forex Mentor may earn a commission if you open an account through links on this page. The figures in this review were read from Axon’s own published documents and the regulator’s register.

What is Axon Markets?

Axon Markets describes itself as the principal brand of TDAventus Group Ltd, a holding company incorporated in Mauritius. The brand offers CFDs on forex, indices, metals, shares, energies and crypto, 455+ instruments in total by its own count, including 50+ currency pairs and 40+ crypto CFDs.

Around the trading account it has built what it calls an ecosystem: copy trading, PAMM/MAM managed accounts, a social feed, the AxonLab pricing tools and a free education arm, Axon Academy. Everything runs from one login and one wallet.

Axon is a newer brand: it does not publish a founding year on the pages we read, and its current Client Service Agreement is dated June 2026.

Axon Markets regulation: which entity holds your account?

Axon’s site lists five companies. Only two hold a financial licence, and only one of those holds client accounts:

  • Axon Markets Ltd – Securities Dealer, Seychelles Financial Services Authority, licence SD115. Axon states this is “the sole entity in the Group that provides trading services and maintains client accounts on the MetaTrader 5 platform”. We found Axon Markets Ltd on the FSA’s public register of capital markets licensees.
  • Axon Markets MU Ltd – Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting), Financial Services Commission of Mauritius, licence G826206095, as stated by Axon.
  • HDZ Capital Ltd (Cyprus) – a payment agent and distributor for Axon Markets Ltd. A company registration, not a CySEC licence.
  • Axon Markets Brazil Ltda – a marketing agency that holds no client funds.
  • Axon Community Academy Inc. (Marshall Islands) – runs Axon Academy and is not regulated.

What this means for you: both licences exist, and by Axon’s own statement your trading account is with the Seychelles company. The Seychelles FSA is an offshore regulator, and there is no statutory investor compensation scheme behind the licence, so the protections that apply are the contractual ones below.

Axon says client funds are held in segregated bank accounts, and the client agreement limits a retail client’s liability to the funds in the trading account (negative balance protection). The agreement states that Axon deals as principal and acts as counterparty to your trades, covering them with its own counterparties, which is the standard structure for a CFD broker.

Axon does not accept residents of the United States, Russia, Ukraine, Iran, Israel, North Korea and a list of other restricted jurisdictions. No Southeast Asian country is named on that list. You can compare Axon’s licensing with other brokers on our forex brokers page.

Axon Markets accounts, spreads and fees

Axon runs four live accounts, and the split is easy to read: three spread-only accounts with no commission, and one raw account with commission.

Raw Spread is the one that matters for active traders. From 0.0 pips plus $6 per lot round turn ($3 per side) puts the all-in cost on EUR/USD at roughly 0.6 pips when the raw spread is at its floor. That is the same all-in cost as the commission-free Prime account’s 0.6 pips, but Prime needs a $1,000 deposit and Raw Spread needs $500, so Raw Spread is the better-value door for most people.

Standard (from 1.5 pips, $50) and LeveragePlus (from 1.8 pips, $10) are noticeably more expensive per trade. They suit small accounts and people testing the broker, not anyone trading size.

Other costs to know about:

  • Share CFDs carry a 0.10% commission with no minimum.
  • Swaps apply to positions held overnight. A swap-free (Islamic) option is available on every account except Raw Spread.
  • Deposits are free on Axon’s side. Withdrawals are processed within 24 hours, then take up to 3 to 5 business days for cards and bank wires and about 24 hours for crypto and e-wallets. Minimum withdrawals run from $10 (e-wallets) to $100 (bank wire).
  • Withdrawal commission. Clause 2.11.1 of the client agreement reserves the right to charge 2% (1 to 3 months), 3% (3 to 6 months) or 4.5% (more than 6 months) on a withdrawal where there has been “no sufficient trading activity” since your last deposit. Clauses like this are common among CFD brokers as a guard against using the account as a payment channel; active traders are unlikely to meet it, but do not deposit funds you do not intend to trade.
  • Dormant accounts. We found no inactivity fee in the client agreement. It does allow Axon to archive an account that has been inactive for 90 days and holds 10 euros or less.

Minimum deposits above are taken from Axon’s account types page. Confirm the figure shown in your Client Area before you fund.

Leverage up to 1:2000: how to use it

LeveragePlus offers leverage up to 1:2000; the other three accounts go up to 1:500. Both carry an asterisk: dynamic leverage tiers apply based on account equity, so the available leverage steps down as your balance grows. Ask support for the tier table for your account size.

High leverage lowers the margin you need, not the risk you carry. At 1:2000 a small deposit can control a large position, and a move of a few pips can reach the 50% stop-out. Negative balance protection means you cannot lose more than you deposited.

For traders following a price-action approach on the 4H and daily charts, size positions from your stop distance and risk per trade, and treat the leverage setting as a margin convenience, not a target.

Platforms and tools

MetaTrader 5 is the only trading platform. It is available on Windows, macOS, WebTrader, iOS and Android, with Expert Advisors, depth of market, hedging and the built-in strategy tester. Axon also offers FIX API connectivity for institutional clients. There is no MT4, cTrader or TradingView, so if your EAs or indicators are MT4-only, they will need porting.

Axon says it places no restrictions on scalping, hedging or automated trading. The client agreement does prohibit strategies aimed at exploiting price errors.

The tools around the platform are where Axon is different:

  • AxonLab / AI Lab – live spreads for 232 instruments on every Axon account type, a side-by-side spread and swap comparison against XM and Vantage, a swap heatmap and a position size calculator. Axon says it needs no registration.
  • Copy trading – follow a strategy provider from $10, with track records, risk scores and drawdown shown on each profile. Costs depend on the trader you copy.
  • PAMM / MAM – allocate to a money manager, who can trade but not withdraw your funds.
  • Axon Academy – free courses in English, Portuguese, Arabic and Greek. It is run by a separate, unregulated education company and is information only.

Axon Markets - Own How You Trade

Account opening and support

Registration is online and Axon says it takes under a minute. You then upload a government photo ID and a proof of address dated within the last three to six months; Axon quotes 24 to 48 hours on business days for verification. You can hold several accounts of different types under one profile, and a demo account is available.

Funding options listed are bank wire, Visa and Mastercard, local bank transfers and crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT), with availability varying by country.

Support is by live chat, WhatsApp and email. Axon’s FAQ describes cover as 24/5 with limited weekend support. Complaints are acknowledged within 2 business days with a target of 15 business days to resolve, and can be escalated to the FSA.

Who Axon Markets suits

A good fit if you already trade on MT5, want raw pricing without a large deposit, and like being able to check a broker’s spreads against competitors before you trade. It also suits newer traders who want to start with $10 to $50 and have copy trading and education in the same account.

Less suited if you want a top-tier regulator and a compensation scheme, you depend on MT4, cTrader or TradingView, or you plan to deposit without trading. Our full shortlist is on the best forex brokers page.

How Axon Markets compares

Against the other two brokers on our forex shortlist, Axon competes on entry cost and tooling rather than on regulation or platform choice.

Conclusion: is Axon Markets worth it?

Axon Markets is a credible low-cost MT5 broker with a clearer offer than most at its level: four accounts that are easy to tell apart, raw pricing at $6 per lot, published margin call and stop-out levels, and a pricing-comparison tool that invites you to check its claims. Copy trading, managed accounts and free education add to the package.

Go in knowing the terms: your account is with the Seychelles entity, MT5 is the only platform, and the client agreement carries a withdrawal commission for accounts that withdraw without trading.

Start with the Raw Spread account if you can meet the $500 minimum, withdraw a small amount early to test the process, and keep your position sizing independent of the leverage on offer.
